Description, Design & Accessories

This is a sophisticated 144 square meter apartment apartment for 4 people, just renovated (2019) and furnished with design solutions. It is located on the main (second) floor of a historic building from the 1600s which is located near the church of San Giovanni e Paolo and the Scuola Grande di San Marco. The apartment is a few minutes on foot from both Rialto and San Marco.

The apartment is characterized by high ceilings with original beams, a fine Venetian flooring, damask Lacroix wallpapers and soft rugs. The large kitchen, with a central island and glossy black stools by Philippe Starck, is equipped with an oven and dishwasher and overlooks the internal courtyard. The bright noble hall, framed by impressive velvet curtains, overlooks a magnificent three-mullioned window with balcony on Campo Santi Giovanni e Paolo, offering a wonderful view of the Scuola Grande di San Marco. Large Venetian-themed paintings complete the walls in combination with the Mogg’s eccentric designer chandelier and the Glossy oval table in white marble by Antonio Citterio.

The sleeping area particularly enhances the refinement of the apartment: 2 large bedrooms with views of Campo San Giovanni and Paolo are equipped with Flou beds and mattresses embellished with lamps with bronze finishing suspended from the high ceiling. The damask wallpaper and the rugs, made from black sailor rope, embroider and frame the floor. The 3 bathrooms, one of which serves the living area, are large and functional with round powder-colored mirrors. The room comes complete with a large wardrobe room, adjustable air conditioning in every room, satellite TV, free Wifi. Washing and drying facilities are available on the ground floor of the building.
